Aluminium outdoor lighting

Relative low cost and robustness combine to make aluminium one of the main materials for garden lights. Some of these aluminium outdoor lights are left in the same bare aluminium finish in which they are cast, and some aluminium outdoor lights have a "brushed" finish, both of which will weather over a few weeks to a colour which may approximate to "gunmetal", often after going through a slightly spotty stage as raindrops gradually accelerate the weathering process. Weathered aluminium garden lights such as the Cobus wall light often look good with concrete structures and other applications which have an "industrial" or minimalist feel, but it isn't everyone's cup of tea, so you may wish to specify a powder-coat colour finish which won't change.
