Underwater Lighting

The Atlantus R3505 3-7 watt underwater spot light is made from cast brass, pressure-tested during manufacture and available with internal glare louvre option. It is supplied with a U bracket for fixing to underwater mounting blocks or supports, but it can also be used without the bracket as a waterproof uplight set into cobbles over a reservoir, or even used in bog gardens or waterlogged areas as a recessed light. Optional heavy mounting base, extended stem and mounting spike assist location in a variety of underwater locations. The clear lens fitted as standard is flush to the front rim for easy cleaning

One of the best black underwater lights is the Atlantus R3505B, made of cast brass and powder-coated black - the heavier weight of brass underwater lights means they are less likely to be disturbed than lighter weight aluminium ones. It is also available with optional heavy mounting base, extended stem and mounting spike

For modern water features where the fitting may be very visible, such as tiled or mosaic ponds, the P4SS Hydrus stainless steel underwater light may be preferred. All Lighting for Gardens brass and stainless steel underwater lights are fitted with a 6 metre cable and accept an MR16 lamp up to 7w. 12v led lamps fit all these MR16 underwater lights

These underwater lights are available with a comprehensive selection of mounting accessories, including base-mounts and spike-mounts, with optional extension stems which enable underwater lights to be positioned just under the water surface for effective pond lighting. Positioning an underwater spot light 20-30cm below the water level means there is less chance of the light beam being absorbed and dissipated by murky water and raises the light above the level of cables and pipes in the bottom of the pond, so there is less risk of a well lit liner!
