Filters & LensesFilters & lenses can be used with a wide variety of garden lights to achieve even more creative garden lighting effects. Frosted lenses diffuse the lighting and soften the edge of the beam so it is less visible. Spread lenses elongate the beam from round to rectangular for wall washing and to extend coverage across a subject such as a wide spreading tree canopy. Colour filters can be used to add vibrant coloured garden lighting or to soften the appearance of white sculptures. Glare louvres can be used to make lighting more comfortable by making the light source less visible in outdoor spotlights and steplights near patios, paths, windows and viewpoints. |
