  • Product Overview

    • The Elipta Opal Walkover DMX Kit helps you create an atmosphere in your garden by adjusting the brightness of the light and giving you access to a whole new colour spectrum. Whether you want all your garden lights to be a cool blue or just need some lights dimming down later in the evening, the DMX kit offers a complete garden light solution. This kit has the necessary components to install a colour changing garden light system, controlled by B30DMX Elipta Wall Mount 4 Channel DMX controller with colour wheel (supplied).

    The kit is designed to give you the essential items needed to install a basic outdoor DMX system and allows other components to be added to the kit at a later stage. It comprises of 4 x E995RGBF Elipta Walkover Opal Frosted Recessed LED light fittings, 1x touch pad/wall controller, 1 x T3800 6 way IP68 junction box, 1x T2435PT Elipta 35w power supply, 1x T9802 IP 65 junction box and 2 x T9972 20mm Elipta cable glands.

    Installation for lights:

    Direct burial in the ground : prewired with rubber cable and 20mm IP68 gland for connection to mains supply via a separate underground joint kit (order T9969 separately.) Provide 300mm depth of shingle drainage below the uplight: do not use in waterlogged ground.
    Using a single a RCD for large numbers of 240v fittings is not recommended due to the risk of nuisance tripping. We advise the use of separate RCD protection for each circuit and a maximum of 12 fittings per RCD. Where a garden lighting installation of more than 12 spike mount or recessed lights per circuit is proposed, we suggest the installation of 12v units with transformers, which results in a significantly higher fault tolerance and reliability in the total installation.                                        
    Installation for wall switch:

    The DMX wall switch requires power from either 12v or 24v DC. The switch fits on a standard 1 gang back box or drylining box. Install switch on an inside wall, typically inside a conservatory or dining room overlooking the garden.
