Before returning any product, please contact our sales department by calling 01462 486777 or by filling in the contact form and include the following details:
- The relevant account number and the order number.
- The goods which need to be returned.
- Reason for return.
On receipt of your order, in the unlikely event that you are not entirely satisfied with the quality of the goods, you can return it to us within 14 days to obtain a refund as long as they are in their original packaging, in perfect condition and fit for re-sale. Goods to be returned for the above reason will be at the customer's own expense and apply to retail customers only.
Any request to return goods originally purchased more than 14 days prior will be subject to the discretion of Lighting for Gardens Limited. A re-stocking charge may be made for checking that goods returned are in their original packaging, in perfect condition and fit for re-sale, and for any rectification which may be required to render them fit for re-sale.
If goods received are incorrect to the order placed, or are faulty when received, and a refund is required, goods must be returned within 14 days of despatch date. Claims for goods damaged in transit must be notified to us within 5 days of your receipt of the order. When returning defective stock, we will refund postage of £4.00 or under. If it looks likely that the postage will be more than this, please contact us and we will approve the higher charge, send you a pre-paid label or arrange collection by our carrier at our option.
The Company guarantees the goods supplied for a period of 2 years from date of despatch and will either replace faulty products (provided goods are returned to us for examination if we request it), repair at it's premises or supply replacement parts at it's option. This does not include lamps and other light sources, which are deemed consumables, and faults or damage occurring from lack of care, incorrect installation, mishandling or misuse. The Company accepts no responsibility for incidental costs incurred by the Purchaser or any third party in connection with the identification, return, repair, installation or rectification of goods claimed to be faulty.
We can then investigate your request and contact you to arrange/confirm details. Please include as many details as possible as this will speed up the process and allow us to process your request more efficiently. Returns of goods must be accompanied by documentation referring to a Goods Return Number (GRN) which we will give you. Any goods returned without reference to a Goods Return Number will be deemed to have been returned without prior agreement.
Goods which have been custom made to client order, including non-stock items or colour finishes, and goods which are not current stock models will not be accepted for return. Many products are imported from around the world - we cannot send them back, so unfortunately neither can you. Goods sold under our special offers may not be returned for credit except in the case of faulty goods.
