  • 240v Spike Spotlights
Spike spotlights are a nice and simple way to light up features, plants or trees in the garden and are easily placed in the ground. Outdoor LED spotlights may also be used for lighting up pathways and walkways, providing both functional and subtle, glare free lighting. 240v spotlights need their own circuit from an existing or new fuse box and are pre-wired with a 2m 3 core cable. Elipta spike spotlights are available in a variety of materials and finishes including; 316 stainless steel, natural copper, solid brass, rustic brown and black finish. Elipta 240v spike spotlights range from ‘unassuming’ matt black spotlights to high grade compact stainless steel spotlights. • Floodlights
LED floodlights are high-intensity lights used to illuminate outdoor areas, for a security deterrent, wall washing or lighting large areas of the garden. At Lighting for Gardens, we have a selection of floodlights available in 12v or 240v. Elipta wide angled or narrow beam floodlights are also available in a variety of different finishes including black, white and rustic brown. Elipta floodlights feature adjustable glare shields to help avoid 'nuisance' neighbour lighting and can be either spike or wall mounted. PIR motion sensors, timers and dusk til dawn switches available for security lighting. Please remember to buy a 12v transformer with any 12v productsClick here to see our transformer range
  • Metal Halide Uplights
Trees vary enormously in size and shape, but most trees can be lit very well using fittings with 36° or 60° beam angles. Narrow trees such as Silver Birch, Scots Pine and most conifers work best with a 36° light source. Medium spreading trees like Robinia, Cherry or Lime need lights with a 60° beam angle. While wide spreading mature Oaks and Cedars will usually require more than one light to achieve reasonable coverage. Extremely narrow subjects such as Italian Cypress could be lit using a very narrow light source, but in practice a 36° light will usually be effective. Trees up to about 8 metres can be lit effectively using 35w metal halide lamps in spike mount or recessed fittings. For even larger trees we recommend 70w and 150w metal halide fittings. At Lighting for Gardens, we have a vast array of metal halide uplights available including spike mount halide lights that sit above the ground and recessed halide lights  that are flush with the surface. Available in a range of different finishes including black, green, grey, stainless steel and textured brass.
  • Recessed Uplights
Flexible range of recessed, in-ground lighting available in low or mains voltage with adjustable beam angles, 'tilting' lamp cradles, long lamp life and cool top lens temperatures. Recessed ground uplighters with toughened glass lens make the perfect walk over and drive over lights for your garden. Light up your Al Fresco dining area or illuminate your driveway with Elipta recessed lighting mounted in the ground or wall face. Elipta range of outdoor recessed lights combine typical top lens temperature of under 40°C with fully adjustable lamps for uplighting trees and building facades from lawns or paving. Polymer sleeves and recessed light fittings with top entry access makes for easy installation and maintenance. Recessed adjustable LED uplights 12v or 240v - IP67 and IP68 Elipta Modula is a flexible range of 12v and 240v recessed lights, available with round or square top plates with chamfered edges in 316 stainless steel or sandblasted brass, plus a round dark green model for use in lawns.
